Sally has a certificate in Early Childhood Education at Berkshire Community College which included a two-year semester internship at the Boy's and Girl's Club's Preschool Children's Center in Pittsfield, MA.
After completing her BA in Art History from Boston University, Sally spent almost ten years in London, England working for BBC Television in their Production Department. She then returned to the USA to the Berkshires where she grew up and worked for many years in fundraising positions for The Clark, The Berkshire Museum, and most recently Berkshire Children and Families. Feeling it was time for a career change, and to follow her heart and dreams of working with young children, she embarked on a journey that has led her to The Kid's Place where she couldn't be happier!
Sally resides in East Nassau with her husband, son, and four furry critters. She enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and travel. She is very excited to work at The Kid's Place. She loves the cooperative nature of the school, offering family members the opportunity to be actively involved, and because of this, both teachers and families can gain special insight into the unique needs of each child. She believes that learning and play go hand in hand, and should be presented in a way that is developmentally appropriate, fun, and will be remembered.
